Buck Johnson is currently available for shows as a solo act or with his band.  He has performed everywhere from dancehalls, honky tonks, fairs and festivals to corporate functions, private parties, and weddings.

Buck keeps a driving rhythm on guitar, singing his gritty, yet passionate, heart-felt original songs.  He pulls an old, lonesome sound together with country and blues, to create his own high-energy blend of Texas country.

Besides Buck's original material, covers include traditional standards from Merle Haggard and Dwight Yoakam, among others, as well as favorites from Texas songwriters such as Robert Earl Keen and Jack Ingram.  Buck makes each song his own with a delivery that is both familiar and unique.
